GGBridge

We have operated as a process serving and attorney support service for 40 years, and have extensive experience handling complex and challenging assignments.  Although we handle routine service matters as well, we are not set up for large volume, flat-rate projects.  We provide good, solid service at competitive prices.  Customarily, our proofs of service go back to our clients the day of service.

We receive documents, service requests, and assignment changes, (e.g., new address, cancellations, status requests, etc.) electronically, via mail, or overnight courier. Send documents for filing or service to this e-mail address: [email protected].  Documents for service, filing, or recording require prepayment via credit card or PayPal.

On December 8, 2014, San Francisco Superior Court instituted mandatory electronic filing. Limited Unlawful Detainer and Small Claims cases are not subject to the mandate. E-filings received by the court at 4:00 PM or later will be filed as of the next court day. Courtesy copies still must be delivered to the department by 1:30 PM the following court day. We may handle your filings during this transition, or sign up with a variety of e-filing companies posted on the San Francisco Superior Court web site. Please contact us to confirm that we can handle your filing timely because we are not always in the office.

Although we have Broadband connections, waiting for the document to print, the ink and paper it generates on my end will be charged commensurate with the effort, cost, and impact on my day. (20 or fewer pages I can handle for no additional charge.) In other words, we prefer that someone in your office copy, collate, assemble, put it in an envelope, and mail or FedEx it to us so we don’t have to do it.  Somebody has to.  You may send a messenger or Federal Express to my 601 Van Ness Ave., Ste. J, San Francisco address below.

We can also arrange for a courier to pick-up documents for a nominal fee.

I know you are tempted to e-mail me an urgent message or give me that statute filing electronically, right from the comfort of your desk and computer. I am not likely to see it moments after you send it, however, because I am not likely sitting at my computer, and if I am, I’m not hearing the little *dink* sound when new e-mail arrives because it’s annoying and I disabled it. The best way to contact us is by calling 415/495-4221. Then we can decide on the best way to handle your request.

If you send an e-mail to me, I will be notified on my phone. If it is urgent, call me. Otherwise, I usually check my e-mail sporadically throughout the day. Unless I know something is being sent, I may not check it for hours.
